The mission of the library is to assemble, preserve and administer, in organized collections, books and related educational materials to promote through guidance and stimulation, the communication of ideas, enlightened citizenship and enrich personal lives.

 

 

 


Look what Springfield Memorial Library offers
 
The library maintains books, videos on VHS or DVD format, and music CD's. Seven public access computers are connected to high speed internet service. Copy and local fax service is available. The library's meeting room may be rented for $25.00 per day. For materials not available at our library, interlibrary loan may be requested. Many programs are held throughout the year. Friends of the Library
 
The Friends of the Library is a fundraising group that benefits the library. This group provides many extras to our library. The Friends Board meets monthly, September - May. All patrons are invited to join Friends of the Library.

Contributions can be made to the Springfield Memorial Library Foundation. Your gift will support the library, help provide educational value to our community, and raise community awareness of the library.
